Numark iDJ2 Mixing Console with Universal iPod Dock introduced

Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of Dj accessories and audio equipment has just introduced the iDJ2, which is the company’s first DJ mixing console to feature a Universal Dock for the iPod.
The Numark iDJ2 mixing console is an innovative new iPod docking system that allows users to play two songs at the same time from a single iPod, without the need of a computer.
The Numark iDJ2 single iPod DJ mixer allows the user to scratch, control pitch and key-lock. The user is bestowed with a high level of music control with the real-time scratching, pitch control, seamless loop and full cueing.
A great feature of the iDJ2 mixing console is that it can play two songs from a single iPod simultaneously. It also features a stunning full-color screen.
Users can also hook up multiple mass storage devices such as additional iPods, thumb drives and external USB hard drives via the rear panel USB ports.
Besides USB connectivity, the Numark iDJ2 mixing console comes with line inputs for any audio source be it a microphone, CD player or turntable.
The iDJ2 mixing console has support for various audio formats including MP3, WAV and AAC (non-DRM) formats.
The Numark iDJ2 console features a special iPod Direct Mode function that enables users to play all iPod-supported music including songs bought via the Apple iTunes online music store.
The iDJ2 mixing console with Universal Dock for iPod will be available in September 2007 for a list price of $799 and an approximate street price of $599.
