The DVD Acquisition and Development Group, the parent company of DVD International has announced that the release date of its entire HDScape line on Blu-ray Disc will be October 30, 2007. HDScape is the most popular scene High-definition discs on HD DVD.

According to David Goodman, President of The DVD Acquisition And Development Group, “Since its inception almost one year ago, HDScape™ has become the premier source for scenic high definition content that turns any HDTV into a beautiful work of art. Now is the ideal time to bring our library to the Blu-ray community, so that they can
experience just how beautiful high definition artwork can be.”

This move was undertaken by the DVD Acquisition Group due to the large demand from the Blu-ray community. At this event, it was also announced that The Richard Diercks Company has been selected as the authoring house for all of these Blu-ray titles.

The HDScape Blu-ray library includes the top-selling HDscape Sampler Disc which has been a constant best seller since its HD DVD release in early 2007. This Sampler Disc features samples from the entire HDScape lineup.

However, the Blu-ray version of this disc will not contain a standard definition side.
