Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music iPod System

Logitech has introduced its new range of iPod speakers which include the sleek and suave looking ‘Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music iPod System’. This system offers a premium audio experience, an innovative application of motion- and light-sensing technology and a host of other features, making it a great choice for any bedside table.

Logitech’s latest iPod speaker system for the bedroom features ¾-inch high-definition, soft-dome tweeters and 3-inch high-power, long-throw woofers. And if people wish to have a wider sound field, then they can always activate Logitech’s StereoXL technology embedded in the system.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium system for iPod also has a built-in AM/FM radio and a dual alarm with battery backup. Thus, two people can set their wake up alarms for two separate times. You can also set an iPod track or playlist, radio station or buzzer as the alarm ring.

But as we said earlier, the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod offers more than just great audio, for this system also uses the latest in motion-sensing technology.

When controlling this speaker system in the dark, the motion-sensitive, backlighted control buttons automatically light up when a person waves a hand over the top of speaker. The buttons automatically dim when the person has finished changing the speaker’s settings. Besides, the backlighted buttons make it easy to set the alarm clock without the need to turn on the light.

The motion-sensing technology in the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod extends to the SNOOZE function as well. Instead of hitting a button, one can simply wave their hand over the speakers to get those extra minutes of shut eye. But, for those who tend to over sleep, there’s a tactile button that quite prominent located on the top of the system.

Besides the motion-sensing technology, Logitech has also incorporated light sensors into the display of the Pure-Fi Dream iPod speaker system. The light-sensitive, auto-adjusting display brightens in the day, making it easy to read from afar. Add to that the amber lettering that clearly displays the time, and date, iPod track information, radio stations and volume settings.

When the day turns into night, the display automatically dims, but the speakers still provide all the required information via an LCD screen.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream speaker system comes bundled with a remote control which allows users to select their favorite iPod playlists, radio stations, control volume, skip forward and back, Play, Pause, Shuffle or Repeat and Snooze from a distance. The buttons on the remote are backlighted as well making night time navigation a breeze.

Your iPod can also charge when docked in this speaker system.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom iPod Speaker System comes in a piano-black finish and sports a minimalist design, complementing the black iPod. It will be available in the US in November for a price of $249.99.
