Cyberstar Infocom's Toshiba HDD Awareness Campaign Cyberstar Infocom Limited, one of India’s leading distributors of IT products, has just announced a comprehensive campaign to promote awareness of the Hitachi 1TB Hard Disk Drive among the system builder community in the country.

Hitachi’s 1TB HDD happens to be the world’s first terabyte hard drive. It is obviously a first for India and its subcontinents as well.

The 3.5-inch, 7200 RPM family of Hitachi 1TB SATA hard disk drives are perfect for use in consumer, commercial , extreme gaming and media centre PCs, as well as in external storage devices.

The Hitachi 1TB HDD has been built using the industry’s most reliable perpendicular magnetic recoding technology, robust 3GB SATA interface and enhanced Rotational vibration Safeguard technology.

More importantly, the Hitachi 1TB HDD meets the performance requirements of consumers who desire fast data transfer rates, low power consumption and advanced shock protection.

As part of the Cyberstar campaign, the company will conduct channel sales training programs as well as technology briefing sessions, which are aimed to throw light on the immense technical and commercial benefits of the Hitachi 1TB hard disk drive.

Besides this, Cyberstar also has some rather innovative advertising campaigns in store that will be introduced in local and regional media. The company hopes that this will further build awareness for Hitachi’s 1TB HDD amongst PC builders and user communities across India.

According to Raj Rathi, Managing Director, Cyberstar Infocom Ltd, “Growing volumes of songs, movies, personal videos, pictures and games stored on our PCs highlights a ready market for higher capacity HDDs in India.”

“At 133 gigabits per square inch, the Hitachi 1TB hard drive crams much more data per square inch than any other HDD available in the market today. Quieter acoustics, lower heat dissipation levels and much faster read/write speeds, makes this family of Hitachi HDDs a must have for all PC users,” he added.
