SiS671-Powered Fujitsu FMV-D3240 PC

Developer of innovative core logic chipsets SiS, has announced that SiS671 has been adopted by Fujitsu Desktop PC FMV-D3240.

The Fujitsu FMV-D3240 PC packed with the SiS671 chipset supports Intel CoreT2 Duo / Pentium4 / Celeron D FSB800/667/533 MHz processors. In addition, it also supports DDR2-667 and memory size up to 2GB. With the embedded MirageTM3 graphics engine, the SiS671 chipset makes the FMV-D3240 PC to be compatible with the latest Windows VistaTM.

To completely release the power of the FUJITSU FMV-D3240 PC, the SiS968 Southbridge plays a significant part by supporting PCI Express x1 and Serial ATA interface. Thanks to the independent Serial ATA high-speed connector, the SiS968 makes it possible for the FUJITSU FMV-D3240 PC to speed up the data processing; by equipping six USB2.0 ports, the SiS968 enables the FUJITSU FMV-D3240 PC to meet the need for connecting with multiple digital devices. Furthermore, the High Definition Audio is also equipped in the SiS968 Southbridge to deliver high quality sound effect.

The SiS968 Southbridge supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet to provide a high-speed network for users.
