This processor runs at 2.93GHz making it the fastest native clock speed ever reached with the Intel Core micro architecture for the quad-core desktop.

In fact, at the Game Developer’s Conference that took place recently in San Francisco, many software developers demonstrated new games such as Crytek’s Crysis and Flagship’s Hellgate London that have been developed to take advantage of multiple processor core and threads.
