Sometime ago, Transcend - Flash Memory products’ manufacturer, had announced that all of its JetFlashT series of USB Flash Drives (both Hi-Speed and V Series) were compatible with WindowsR VistaT and were enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost Technology, which include JetFlash 2A, JetFlash 110, JetFlash 130, JetFlash 150, JetFlash 160, JetFlash 168 and JetFlash 180. By blending a compatible JetFlash Hi-Speed series of USB Flash Drive with the ReadyBoostT feature, users can enhance their PCs responsiveness by using the flash memory that is in the JetFlash.

ReadyBoostT technology is one of MicrosoftR WindowsR Vista’s pioneering features that allow computer users to simply connect a removable flash memory device, such as a USB pen drive, SD card, CF card or other memory form, to boost the system performance of a desktop or notebook computer. When taking the USB pen drive or flash card out of the computer, the system will automatically go back to its original settings. To use WindowsR ReadyBoostT, the computer must be preinstalled with WindowsR VistaT and have access to a non-volatile flash memory buffer with at least 512MB of physical storage capacity.
