SiS671-based PCs from Tsinghua Tongfang now available in the Market

SiS Logo Today, SiS announced that its SiS671-based PCs from Tsinghua Tongfang are now available.

With their 22-inch widescreen LCD monitors, the SiS671-based Tsinghua Tongfang S8360 and S8160 desktop PCs have been designed to be home multimedia centers. This allows users to enjoy the most high-end multimedia experience at home.

Both the SiS-based Tsinghua Tongfang S8360 and S8160 desktop PCs support Intel Celeron 430 processors and even use the latest LightScribe technology.

The SiS-based Tsinghua Tongfang T5160 and T5150 desktop PCs on the other hand, have been designed solely for educational purposes. They support the Intel Celeron processor, are integrated with Miracge graphics engines and provide advanced image quality.

Since these PC are meant for educational use, the T series notebooks are installed on an on-line education program which allows students to take courses through the Internet.

The SiS-based Tsinghua Tongfang ‘A’ series that includes the A300 and A210 desktop PCs are meant for business users. These PCs have more user-friendly functions that can help to enormously increase the work efficiency of users.

The SiS-based A series of desktops have the proprietary software installed on them. This software covers fingerprint identification, telecommunication managing tools, and self-defined hot key function. These PCs can help in data protection.

The SiS671 Northbridge chipset, combining with the SiS968 Southbridge chipset, supports Intel CoreT 2 Duo/ Pentium 4/ Celeron D FSB800/667/533MHz processors, and single-channel DDR2-667 memory. With MirageT3 graphics engine, the SiS671 chipset allows the LCD monitor to display perfect image. The SiS671/SiS968 equips PCI Express interfaces which enabling further upgrading of the system. The embedded High Definition Audio enables to deliver high performance sound effect. 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet allows high-speed networking.
