Sony TDM-NC1 Digital media Port Wi-Fi Client Sony has come out with a new Digital media Port accessory. The TDM-NC1, which takes the shape of a cube, allows users to stream music from the PC straight on to the user’s home theatre via the home Wi-Fi network.

This tiny device has a compact cube shape which looks really neat. The Sony cubic TDM-NC1 gadget features a bright digital screen that displays the song, artists as well as other audio information.

The Sony TDM-NC1 is compatible with ATRAC, AAC and WMA music files.

It can playback only DRM protected files only from CONNECT Music download service. It is also compatible with Apple computers. The device is equipped with an Ethernet port for wired connection. However, a Wi-Fi router does not come bundled with this device.

The Sony TDM-NC1 Digital media Port Wi-Fi client requires a PC with Microsoft Windows XP SP2 operating system or newer operating systems.

Measuring just 75 x 76 x 75mm (3 x 3x 3 inches) and weighing just 0.3 kg, Sony’s latest DMP Wi-Fi client is quite the compact device to have around the house.
