AsusTeK Computer Inc. has released a new series of motherboards that support the newly launched Intel Core 2 processors, the Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme.

According to Asus, its new offerings satisfy various user demands, ranging from workstations to entry-level systems, with a far-reaching performance hike.

“Asus Motherboards are symbolic of high quality and latest technology. We have a large variety of motherboards that are Conroe compatible and we plan to launch them in the India market immediately,” said Andrew Tsui, Managing Director, Asus India.

Asus has also upgraded a number of existing models to support the new technology.

Asus also announced that its complete notebook line is Intel Core 2 Duo ready. The notebook series based on Intel’s new mobile computing platform delivers improved performance for multitasking with longer battery supply and extensive wireless connection.

Asus said that consumers could now pick from the wide range of notebooks for a complete computing experience with ultra mobility, wire-free video communication as well as live high-definition TV broadcast. To provide a seamless digital lifestyle, ASUS notebooks accommodate the increasing demand for high-definition digital data storage with Blu-ray and HD-DVD capable optical drives.

Asus also offers a wide range of business notebook models with dependable security measures including both software and hardware solutions.
