40 GB Portable Hard Drive launched by I/O Magic

I/O Magic's 40 Gigabyte portable hard drive Leading provider of optical data storage products I/O Magic, has released a 40 Gigabyte portable hard drive, to be used with desktop and laptop personal computers.

Dubbed ‘Data to Go,’ the 2.5-inch device provides enough storage for large quantities of personal photos, music and video games as well as other documents and company information used by business travelers.

Chief Executive Officer Tony Shahbaz said, “It offers the additional storage space needed for mobile consumers.”

Priced at $100, Data to Go is compatible with Windows XP/2000/ME, and its transfer rate maxes at 480 megabits per second.
