Transcend has announced a new addition to its StoreJet 2.5 series, the 120GB Titanic model. Transcend says that its StoreJet 2.5 is a compact external hard disk that fits in the palm of one’s hand, while holding up to 120GB of storage capacity.

The extremely sleek StoreJet 2.5 comes in a range of colorful, lightweight aluminum cases, which include Red, Blue, Silver, and Titanium. These lightweight cases have been specially designed for convenience and ultra-portability.

Besides, Transcend’s StoreJet 2.5 supports hi-speed USB 2.0 for the fastest possible data transfer speeds; as also user-friendly software for taking the sweat out of storage and back-ups.

The bundled software includes PC Lock, which can be used as a key to lock the computer; Security, which can be used to compress and password-protect saved files via AEB encryption; My Documents; Mobile IE Favorites; Mobile Outlook Express; and Address Book Editor.

Other features of Transcend’s 120GB Titanic model include USB interface with true Plug and Play, compatibility with USB 2.0 specification, backwards compatibility with USB 1.1, powered by USB port, 480Mbit/sec (60MB/sec) data transfer at full speed, support for up to 120GB 2.5-inch HDD, LED indicating system status and data traffic, plus a two-year warranty.
