Computer hardware products manufacturer GIGABYTE Technology Co Ltd. has launched the S series of motherboards for the AMD socket AM2 platform that comprises of five features that are absolutely essential in the present day digital media environment - Safe, Smart, Speed, SLI and Silent-Pipe Technologies.

With support for the new generation of AMD AM2 processors with high-frequency dual channel DDR2 800 MHz memory capabilities together with a remarkable variety of GIGABYTE software utilities, the new S series motherboards offer consistent and user-friendly platforms for maximum system performance.

As the chief of the S series range, the GA-M59SLI-S5 unveils GIGABYTE Silent-Pipe Technology that offers motherboard cooling sans noisy fans or fragile moving parts. The GA-M59SLI-S5 also delivers market leading graphics performance through Nvidia SLI dual PCI Express x16 architecture allowing excellent scalability for extreme gaming and 3D graphics.

Safe - Central to the GIGABYTE S series of motherboards, the safe feature consists of excellent hardware design, reinforced BIOS protection through GIGABYTE Virtual Dual BIOS and BIOS Setting Recovery Technologies.
