Windows Vista Media Center remote controls by Philips

Electronics maker Philips is introducing an entire line-up of remote controls that have been specially designed to work with Vista Media Center.

These Windows Vista Media Center remote controls range from a more standard style remote (RC1974501/00) with the huge number of buttons up and down to its slightly upgraded buddy, the RC1974502/00, which appears to be the same, except with backlighting on the keys.

The third version in the range is the RC1974603/00, which also has backlighting, but it adds “advanced IR learning.”

However what looks to be the most full-featured (and probably the most expensive) remote is the TINO SRM7500. The RF remote includes an LCD screen for controlling music playback without turning on your monitor/TV. It works as a universal IR remote, for learning to control your other devices.

No info on pricing and availability for the Philips remote controls have been revealed.
