Stylus R270 Photo Printer, which delivers good Photo Print quality launched by Epson
Epson, well-known for its total digital imaging solutions, has just announced the launch of its Stylus Photo R270 photo printer. The Stylus photo printer R270 has been targeted mainly at photo enthusiasts, as it manages to deliver good print quality to its users.
The Epson Stylus Photo R270 uses the sophisticated Epson Claria Photo System. This new-generation ink system promises to deliver amazing photo quality printouts and longevity of up to 200 years. Wow, is all we have to say.
The Stylus Photo R270 printer has a two-tone grey outfit, and is capable of print jobs at the speed of up to 20 pages per minute, while printing both text and color printouts. A borderless 4R printout would take just about 13 seconds to print out.
The Stylus Photo R270 uses the Epson Claria Photo System, which is a duo system that comprises of Epson Claria PhotoEnhance software and Epson Claria Photographic inks.
The Epson Stylus Photo R270 printer also uses Claria Photographics Inks that are aimed at reducing the gap between home- and photo lab-quality printing. These photographic inks offer a wide color range, as well as improved color richness, clarity, depth and glossiness. So it’s very much like traditional photo lab-quality prints.
The Epson Stylus Photo R270 printer incorporates Epson’s Micro Piezo print head system, which takes care of reliability and accuracy. The Advanced Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) allows the print head to fire up to five sizes of ink droplets (which start at 1.5 picolitres). This helps to improve the overall printing speed, while producing subtle tone gradation in images. This printer from Epson also provides PC-less printing convenience with USB Direct Print or via PictBridge-enabled devices.
The Epson Stylus R270 Photo printer is available for a price of Rs. 9,800.
