‘Superstar Dhamaal’ and ‘Fly with Hardware’, two New Promotional Schemes introduced by Microsoft in India

Microsoft logo Microsoft Entertainment & Devices Division announced two new promotions in India- ‘Superstar Dhamaal’ and ‘Fly with Hardware’. These two promotions announced by Microsoft surround the company’s range of hardware input devices like keyboards, mice and webcams.

‘Superstar Dhamaal’ and ‘Fly with Hardware’, the two new promotions announced by Microsoft in India are valid till December 15, 2006 and December 31, 2006 respectively.

‘Superstar Dhamaal’ is aimed at delivering a superior PC experience to end-consumers, who can now upgrade their current or old keyboard, mouse and web cameras with the all-new Microsoft Wireless Desktop 700, LifeCam VX1000 and Wired Desktop 500.

Under the ‘Superstar Dhamaal’ scheme, consumers can choose from a variety of peripherals, which are easily available at attractive exchange prices. Besides, as a part of this scheme, there will also be a fortnightly contest where the winners will get a chance to meet cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.

The second promotion,’ Fly with Hardware’, is targeted mainly at Microsoft’s channel partner community. This scheme offers guaranteed rewards on a minimum purchase. As an example, on purchase of goods worth Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 79,999, the dealer walks away with a 1g gold coin. But that is not all; the grand prize includes a six-day trip to Singapore on a minimum purchase of Rs. 7, 50,000 and above.

Mohit Anand, country manager, Microsoft Entertainment & Devices Division, said, “At Microsoft Hardware, our focus is to provide unique consumer experience as well as create unmatchable sales experience for our channel partners. Such promotional activities result in easy availability of our product that encourage our channel partners and ultimately creates good buying experience.”
