New Line-Up of GeForce 7 Series Graphic Cards shipped by Foxconn
Motherboard giant Foxconn, has now taken up the endeavor of manufacturing graphic cards. At present they will be manufacturing graphic cards based on NVIDIA’s chipsets, which includes manufacturing the latest line up of NVIDIA’s chipsets, the acclaimed GeForce 7 series GPUs. All the cards are PCI-Express and are RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant.
“Foxconn has leveraged its expertise in the PC components business and worked closely with NVIDIA to develop this complete range of graphics solutions,” said Vincent Yuan, General Manger of Foxconn Channel Services Division. “Our channel customers, whether they are distributors, resellers or system integrators, have the ability to meet the needs of all market segments and applications effectively with one comprehensive series of graphics cards based on the acclaimed NVIDIA GeForce 7 Series GPUs, and all from one source.”
Foxconn’s top of the line segment has three cards in the offering. The fastest single slot solution, the 7950GX2, the newly introduced 7950GT and the 7900GTX. The 7950GT is available in 256 and 512 MB of GDDR3 memory. The 7900GTX comes with 512 MB of GDDR3 and the 7950GX2 comes with 1 GB of GDDR3.
No details have been revealed of a factory over clocked version in their line up.
