ATI unveils Radeon X1800 GTO

Radeon X1800 GTO ATI Technologies will be launching the Radeon X1800 GTO by the end of March via its add-in-board partners at a suggested retail price of $249. Radeon X1800 GTO is the most recent member in the range of the Radeon X1800 series and is said to deliver breath-taking gaming performance.

The Radeon X1800 GTO, with simultaneous support of high definition rendering (HDR) and anti-aliasing (AA)-functionality, is just the apt thing for those who want their games to look their best.

Vijay Sharma, Director, Desktop Discrete Graphics, ATI said, “ATI recognizes that there are gamers at every price point-and the Radeon X1800 GTO is a clear price-performance winner at $249.” He added, “The X1800 GTO is an important addition to the Radeon X1800 series further strengthening the mid-range market and giving users a powerful gaming card with a range of multimedia functions.”

Incorporating the same ultra-threaded shader architecture and revolutionary new memory architecture of ATI’s Radeon X1800 XT and Radeon X1800 XL GPUs; the Radeon X1800 GTO rounds out the series at an unmatched value-to-performance ratio. Apart from this, ATI’s Avivo visual technology guaranteess the Radeon X1800 GTO delivers excellant high definition video playback and image quality.

Radeon X1800 GTO has 12 pixel shader processors, a 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface and operates at 500 MHz core and 1000 MHz memory speeds, making sure that it has the performance headroom to support the most visually intensive games and applications in the present times and into the future aswell.
