PNY Technologies has announced the 2 GB Mini SD and 1 GB Micro SD memory cards for users with advanced cell phones. With this move, PNY has expanded its mobile flash card range with high capacity digital storage solutions.

All the PNY mini formats come with an extender or adapter that can be used in standard SD Secure Digital or MMC slots.

The 2 GB Mini SD and the 1 GB Micro SD are available from a range of PNY resellers and retailers. They are fully compliant with any mobile phones, digital cameras, camcorders, PDAa or MP3 players capable of taking Mini or Micro Secure Digital cards.

Laure Lapegue, PNY Category Manager for Flash Cards said, “1 GB storage capacity offers mobile phone customers incredible freedom. With our new cards they can store up to 17 hours of MP3, 6 hours of video MPEG 4 and even 1000 digital pictures (with a 2 MP camera in high resolution) with only one mini card.”

The PNY Micro SD 1 GB is available for a recommended retail price of £34,99 (including VAT), while the PNY Mini SD 2 GB has a retail price of £64,99 (including VAT).
