Mvix has introduced the Mvix Wireless Hi-Definition Media Center, a next-generation hard disk-based media center built around the robust Linux architecture. In short, the MX-760HD Media Center is a true home-theater PC offering innumerable possibilities for all multimedia lovers.
The new MX-760HD Media Center will take advantage of the superior abilities of Sigma 8621 chipset, including excellent visual quality supported by leading-edge video decoding technologies, the high resolution audio specifications and the capability for wireless connectivity to home and office networks. Mvix MX-760HD Media Center features the wireless 802.11g technology with WEP infrastructure to deliver maximum wireless signal rates (of up to 54 Mbps) for streaming digital media across network clients.
As a logical extension of the DVD market, with the MX-760HD users can enjoy their entire set of movies, DVDs, home videos and even digital audio content on one 3.5-inch hard disk drive. For movies, TV shows, camcorder footage and more, the MX-760HD is capable of storing and decoding dozens of digital media files and formats. To meet the latest advancements in Audio/Video interfaces, the Mvix Hi-Def Media Center connects to HDTV or Plasma TV sets via a High Definition Digital Video Interface (DVI).
