Fujitsu Unveils Its Enhanced Lifebook S6240 In India

Fujitsu, provider of customer-focused information technology and communications solutions, has launched its enhanced Lifebook S6240 in the country. Fujitsu also inaugurated its IT service center in Bangalore to strengthen operations. The new Bangalore office comes under the purview of Fujitsu India Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu, Japan.

Developed for Microsoft Windows operating systems, the Lifebook S6240 comes with DDR2-533 memory, PCI Express x 1 Gigabit LAN and latest Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG. It also packs ultra-portable multimedia features with SD/MS PRO, USB2.0 x 3, Dual Layer DVD Super Multi Writer, mini S-video out, picture color enhanced Superfine display and quick multimedia playback buttons. The LifeBook S6240 weighs less than 1.7kg with built-in modular bay drive and 13.3-inch display. A media playback panel allows for convenient media functionality, and the Fingerprint Recognition Technology makes for security.

The center is the second of its kind, after the one opened in Hyderabad. The center will act as the company’s Authorized Service Provider for after-purchase services.
