Alienware MJ-12 m7700a Notebook Using Dual Core AMD Opteron Processors Launched

Alienware has launched a notebook that’s uses high-performance AMD Opteron processors which is capable of performing simultaneous 32-bit and 64-bit computing. Computer hardware manufactures Alienware, announced its new MJ-12 m7700a notebook. The AMD-complement to Alienware’s top-selling mobile commercial notebook has desktop-equivalent processing and graphics capabilities, dual hard drives along with optical drives.

MJ-12 m7700a comes with an option for AMD dual-core Opteron processors for memory-intensive programs and demanding digital content. It also features NVIDIA graphic card Quadro FX Go 1400 card and a 17″ wide-screen LCD with ClearView technology. Alienware’s MJ-12 m7700a supplies storage and backup flexibility with support for dual hard drives in RAID 0 or 1 configurations and options for CD-RW/DVD and DVD R/W optical drives.

Senior Vice President and General Manager for Alienware’s Worldwide Product Group Frank Azor said it’s the industry’s first AMD Opteron processor and NVIDIA Quadro graphics based mobile platform.
