Toshiba Engineers A 32 Nanometre Chip

The chip division of Toshiba will claim today it’s fabricated a transistor at the 32 nanometre level.
Toshiba will present a paper at the US International Electron Devices conference today, a report in the Nikkei Business Daily stated.
The transistor so-called FinFET - is a field effect transistor which will have a gate length of only 20 nanometres.
The report also said Toshiba believes it will come up with satisfactory yields for the device.
