Siemens, SAP SI team-up to offer Identity Management and IT Security
Siemens Communications and SAP SI have entered a deal in the sphere of Identity Management and IT Security within the support of the Global Security Alliance.
SAP SI Consulting established the membership in the Global Security Alliance last year in March, which comprises of leading dealers of security and risk management solutions. By sharing reference projects and through the incorporationn of their technologies, Alliance members can be faster than in the past in offering their customers solutions throughout.
In diverse infrastructures, the Siemens solution incorporates applications like Microsoft .NET, IBM WebSphere or the Siemens real-time communication systems independently of a portal.
SAP and Siemens are intercoordinating their products in the field of Identity Management and are using them in-house on an alternating basis. Apart from creating development and assimilation, the partnership also includes the execution of projects at customers from the industrial, government and healthcare sectors. The offerings include consulting, training and certification.
