The world is now the Sims oyster. EA Play Label reveals that it latest game namely Sims 3 World Adventures are now out in stores worldwide. The company releases its first expansion pack of The Sims 3 which is also available as digital download for Mac and PC. The game can be espied in 22 languages and 60 countries.

This latest title takes players and their Sims from the comfort of Sunset Valley to three exotic places inspired by real-world locations. They will be able to explore countries ancient tombs in Al Simhara, Egypt while setting off fireworks in Shang Simla, China. Even learn to make nectar in Champs Les Sims, France.

Players will be exposed the varied culture and styles of that particular place from the locals and even take up challenges and attain personal opportunities while journeying through the locations. Through the new photography skill, gamers can capture all the scary, exciting and funny moments experienced while scouting through the foreign places. Once their quest is done, players can bring back all their treasures and share them along with their experiences with other Sims back home.

Scott Evans, General Manager of The Sims at EA explains, “The Sims 3 World Adventures is the most robust expansion pack in the history of The Sims franchise. Players can take their Sims to three new real-world inspired locations in Egypt, France, and China where they will embark on exciting adventures, master new skills, and discover exotic objects and treasures to collect. In addition, the enhanced building and customization features will allow players to express their creativity in exciting new ways. We’re looking forward to seeing what players create and the new stories, content, and movies they’ll share online.”

The company also discloses that exclusive extra game content will be bestowed on players once they register online with their copy of the PC/Mac version. This special offering comprises of the Explorer’s Loot Set which features Chinese décor and Egyptian furniture. Also included into the array is 1,000 SimPoints which can be used to customize their Sims 3 with extra in-game items.

The Sims 3 World Adventures also boasts of new Simlish music which features the likes of many acclaimed artists namely LeAnn Rimes and Nelly Furtado. These talented musicians have given their Simlish voice styling to the title. Other inclusions are Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, Esmee Denters, Evan Taubenfeld, Young Punx!, Matt + Kim, Fefe Dobson and Pixie Lott.

The Sims 3 World Adventures is also expected to hit mobile phones, iPhone and iPod Touch from EA Mobile early next year. Unlike the other versions, the mobile title will not require a base game to experience the game. The Sims also includes customized mobile gameplay features specially fashioned for this type of platform.
