An official Grand Theft Auto IV bundle for the PlayStation 3 has been confirmed for an April 29, 2008 launch, by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). The forthcoming bundle, which is less than a week away, will pack in a 40GB PS3 model, SIXAXIS wireless controller along with a copy of the all-new genre-defining GTA IV title. And you get the entire package for a €439 (RRP) deal.

David Reeves is the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. An ecstatic Reeves said, “We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package.”

The sandbox-style action-adventure video game, which has been developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, is the eleventh, upcoming installment of the best-selling Grand Theft Auto video game franchise.

Infact, apart from the title’s highly-anticipated launch, 29 April, 2008, will also see the release of a new website called Rockstar Social Club which claims to extend gamers’ experiences of GTA IV as well as future titles from Rockstar. And above all, in the first week post the game’s release it would be established whether Halo 3 maintains its position as the top-seller or GTA IV will beat it by touching a milestone of $400 million in sales within the very first week of its release, outdoing the sales experienced by Halo 3.
