Kreeda Games, the mass multiplayer online gaming company in India has joined hands with the Hong Kong based Inukshuk Asia to bring the KODE5 computer gaming tournament to the country.

In case you are one of the uninitiated, KODE5 is an international gaming tournament which takes place in over 16 countries worldwide in a series of regional events. The main aim during the KODE5 Gaming Finals in Moscow is to find the best gamers from around the globe.

The Mumbai leg of the KODE5 event will see around gamers from India battle it out in two games- Counter Strike 1.6 and Warcraft III. This event will take place on 21st and 22nd February 2008 at Ajivasan Hall, near SNDT College in Juhu, Mumbai from 10am to 8pm.

Considering the event takes place tomorrow and you think you have gaming blood running fiercely through your veins, then it’s not too late because 20% of the final slots will be retained for last-minute participants who drop by at the venue. 80% of the slots have already been filled via online qualifiers who have been invited to Mumbai.

The official partners for KODE5 India include Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics who will be offering courses worth Rs.10 lakhs to the winners and runners up in all three games.

Further, there will also be a special event taking place within the KODE5 gaming event. The crowing of the National danceMELA Hotstepper will take place here after two days of intense dance action.
