Shinen and Wii Logo Game developer and audio producer Shin’en Multimedia has announced that it will be extending its audio outsourcing services to the Nintendo Wii Ware platform.

In case you are unaware of what Wii Ware is all about, then read on. Wii Ware is just a part of the Wii Shop that specializes on software specifically designed for the Wii console. As of now, Wii Ware, which is also known as Wii Software in Europe, offers only Internet Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, Check Mii Out Channel and Metroid Prime 3, an update for the Photo Channel.

Basically, the WiiWare section has been considered as a forum to provide developers with small budgets the chance to release innovative, original and smaller-scale games without the investment and risk.

As Wii Ware developers are a bit short on their resources that developers of disc-based games, they really require to have custom data solutions for their audio.

Here is where Shin’en comes in. The company delivers custom sequenced soundtracks that use on a fraction of resources compared to those needed with streamed audio.

Shin’en has extended its proven DSX toolchain to produce audio that makes full use of Nintendo Wii’s sound capabilities.

According to Manfred Linzner, Project Manager at Shin’en, “We are happy to extend our audio services to the Wii Ware platform. This shows again our position as leading audio outsourcing company for Nintendo systems.”
