1 Million Units of Sony PSP Slim & Lite Sold

PSP Slim & Lite Seems the festive season has carried bloom for Sony this season. Just today we reported about PS3’s sales going higher due to the price cut. Now there is news about PSP’s high sales.

Sony Corp in Japan has proudly announced that the new version of PlayStation Portable i.e. PSP Slim & Lite has managed to sell 1 million units in just two months. The new PSP was launched in Japan on September 20.

The PSP Slim & Lite broke the record of the original PSP by hitting the mark in less than two weeks time. The original PSP took almost over two months to reach the landmark of 1 million units.

Further, Sony aims to sell 10 million new PSP units worldwide by March 2008. PSP’s close competitor Nintendo DS intends to sell 28 million pieces.
