And its update time again for the lastest titles to hit the European Wii Virtual Console this week around. 101 classics and yet going strong.

Mega Man, the revolutionary action platformer is all geared to hit the Wii VC. The video game was originally developed and published by Capcom in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System/Famicom.

In the game, players get to play the role of Mega Man and battle their way through six action-packed stages, conquering bosses as they go in a desperate effort to save the city from evil Dr Wily and his robot army!

To defeat their enemies the players must shoot at them and steer complex obstacles using their dexterity and speed. Once they have defeated bosses in all the stages, it’s time for the players to defeat the final bosses, utilizing the power-ups earned through previous victories! This hard-hitting game, packed with extraordinary music and challenging gameplay is available for download this week for 500 Wii Points.

This week you can also get your hands on side-scrolling beat ‘em up and Kung-Fu extravaganza China Warrior. Packed with excellent graphics, gamers can experience this epic game all over again on the Virtual Console. The game has four stages, each divided into three areas, players must battle their way across the country defeating an inexorable onslaught of enemies in the hope of being crowned the ultimate warrior. China Warrior can be downloaded this week for 600 Wii Points.
