Windows Vista Ready Radeon X1050 and X1550 Graphic Card Series launched by HIS

HIS Logo Hightech Information System Limited, more popularly known as HIS has just launched two new series of graphics cards- the X1050 and X1550 series. The X1050 and X1550 series are powered by ATI Radeon, and are integrated with Windows Vista. Users of the HIS X1050 and X1550 series of graphics cards are thus presented with an excellent premium visual experience, allowing them to get the most out of movies, games and digital applications.

The HIS X1050 GPU, that is powered by ATI Radeon is Microsoft Vista Premium Certified, fully supporting Microsoft’s latest 3D-based operating system, Windows Vista. Moreover, as the HIS X1050 series of GPUs delivers excellent image quality as well as processing power, as the SmartShader and SmoothVision technologies have been incorporated into the ATI Radeon X1050 GPU

The HIS ATI Radeon X1050 GPU series is available up to 400/500 MHz core/memory clock, and up to 256MB/128Bit GDDR2 completely silent (0dB), due to the heatsink cooling. As the HyperMemory 2 technology has been incorporated into the HIS Radeon X1050 GPU series, it can share system memory, and can provide up to 512MB graphics memory.

Thus the HIS ATI Radeon X1050 GPU series provides the most cost-effective Vista Premium solution meant especially for 3D gaming, digital photo editing as well as incredible DVD playback quality. Since the HIS X1050 GPU series is based on the PCI Exprss x16 lane bus, this GPU series is a perfect choice for consumers who are on a tight budget.

The second GPU series launched by HIS, is the HIS X1550 series that manages to deliver all high-end graphic features, as it supports the DirectX 9.0c, OpenGL 2.0 and Shader Model 3.0. Anti-aliasing with HDR and the Avivo engine is also included in the HIS X1550 GPU series, and can be used for encoding or decoding the latest video formats such as MPEG-4, MPEG2, DivX and H.264.

The HIS X1550 series of graphics cards includes the PCI-Express x16 version, AGP 8X version, PCI-Express x1 version and PCI version. The HIS X1550 graphic cards series runs at 550/800MHz core/memory clock, and up to 256MB/128Bit GDDR2. The PCI-Express x16 versions are CrossFire ready, and this helps to improve the performance if needs be.

The HIS X1550 series of graphics cards are fully equipped with Dual-Link DVI features, and is thus able to support all HD outputs. Moreover, the X1550 series from HIS is also HDTV ready.
