Steam joins Valve’s Steam to distribute hit PC Game Titles Online

THQ and Steam logo Ever since Valve launched its online game distribution platform Steam, a number of game publishers have been hooking up with Steam to offer their games on Valve’s digital distribution platform.

First it was Capcom.Now, THQ is the next one who’s joining the Steam bandwagon, as Valve and THQ have announced plans to offer a number of PC titles on Steam.

The starting line-up of THQ game titles that are heading to Valve’s Steam include games that have been developed by well-known game studios such as THQ’s Relic Entertainment, Gas Powered Games, and Pandemic.

THQ PC Game Titles that will be seen on Steam are:

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - (Action; developed by GSC Game World)
  • Company of Heroes - (Strategy; developed by Relic Entertainment)
  • Titan Quest - (Role playing; developed by Lore Entertainment)
  • Titan Quest: Immortal Throne - (Role Playing; developed by Lore Entertainment)
  • Full Spectrum Warrior - (Action; developed by Pandemic)
  • Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers - (Action; developed by Pandemic)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Gold Edition - (Strategy; developed by Relic Entertainment)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade - (Strategy; developed by Relic Entertainment)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Platinum Edition - (Strategy; developed by Relic Entertainment)
  • Here’s some even better news. Select PC game titles such as Company of Heroes, Titan’s Quest, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, Full Spectrum Warrior and Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers are immediately available at a 10% discount right up to July 24, 2007.
