Indiagames, Glu Mobile partner to offer Mobile Games in India

Indiagames and Glu Mobile Logos Indiagames, a mobile and online games company has joined hands with Glu Mobile, a publisher of mobile games. Under this partnership, Indiagames will distribute Glu Mobile’s extensive catalog of entertainment content in India.

Indiagames will exclusively distribute games, wallpapers and ringtones for some fo Glu’s hit titles such as Age of Empires III Mobile, Atari Legends 3 and classic games such as Pong, Asteroid Deluxe and Super Breakout, Brian Lara’s Cricket 2008, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Insaniquarium, Deluxe, DC Comics, Kasparov Chess, Looney Tunes and Zuma amongst a host of other games.

Samir Bangara, COO, Indiagames spoke about this agreement with Glu Mobile saying, “”Glu Mobile’s catalogue offers some of the most compelling content in the wireless VAS space with its sheer variety and engrossing high quality game play across genres.” He further added that “Indiagames is committed to bringing the best quality mobile content to
Indian consumers and our partnership with Glu Mobile re-enforces that commitment. Consumers can look forward to all the latest content for their phones in the coming months.”

Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu Mobile said, “It is Glu’s goal to be the leading developer and publisher of mobile games worldwide, and our partnership with Indiagames supports our strategy to bring our award-winning games to a wide audience of consumers around the world. We see tremendous opportunity for Glu games in India, and our partnership with Indiagames will allow us to expand our global audience for our award-winning titles.”

Glu Mobile’s content will be available for download on most of the major telecom operators’ portals across India as well as from the Indiagames mobile gaming portal.
