EA announces Harry Potter Game tailor-made for Macs

Game publisher Electronic Arts announced on Monday that it is currently making a new Harry Potter game as well as other titles tailor-made for Apple’s Macintosh computers.
In fact, this game was demonstrated at the opening of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference that was held in San Francisco.
“The only thing better that living on a Mac is living in Hogwarts,” said EA’s chief creative officer Bing Gordon as he demonstrated the game.
“Harry Potter is Electronic Art’s best wizard and he needs a wand; unlike Steve Jobs who needs just imagination.”
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for Mac computers, powered by Intel chips, will be released in July 2007, along with EA titles Battlefield 2142, Command and Conquer and Need for Speed.
“A little later, Steve is going to wave his hand and candles are going to float in this room,” Gordon continued, making the crowd consisting mostly of software developers laugh.
