Yesterday, Activision announced a Limited Collectors Edition of ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’ for the Xbox 360 video game console and Windows PC platforms. This collector’s edition will come out around the same time as the game’s actual launch.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been developed by Infinity’s Ward.

The Limited Collector’s Edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will include a special hardcover book that features exclusive concepts, never-seen-before imagery and final artwork.

The Xbox 360 version of this Limited Collector’s Edition Call of Duty 4 game gives a little more to gamers. The box will include a bonus DVD that contains an exclusive documentary that explores the British S.A.S from World War II to modern day.

The Xbox 360 version will also include a series on the making of vignettes that highlights the research, technology and story development conducted by Infinity’s Ward for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Windows PC users will get a hardcover art book and also a digital copy of the BradyGAMES official Strategy Guide. This Guide will be helpful to players as it will provide them with a detailed single-player walkthrough, top-down maps, multiplayer strategies, weapon load-outs, and several other tips necessary for a hardcore soldier.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is scheduled for a November 5, 2005 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC platforms. The Limited Collector’s Edition version of the game will also be out on the same day for Xbox 360 and Windows PC gamers.
