Zapak Super Gamer Contest

Indian online gaming portal Zapak has just announced the launch of the ‘Zapak Super Gamer’ contest, which will give young gamers the chance to win exciting prizes. Parle-G is the presenting sponsor, while Hewlett Packard is the co-sponsor for this contest.

The Zapak Super Gamer contest comprises five games namely ‘Prince of Mysore’, ‘Ching Gum from China’, ‘Bhoot Attack’, ‘Ein-Testine Pet Ka Sawaal’ and ‘Santu Bantu’.

In order to participate in the Zapak Super Gamer contest, one has to click here, then log on and begin playing the games to create high scores.

The Zapak Super Gamer contest will announce weekly winners as well as the top 100 Super Gamers. But of course there can be just one gamer, the ‘Mega Super Gamer’, who will win an exclusive game and a web site that exclusively features him or her.

The chosen 100 Super Gamers will win gaming certificates and kits, while the weekly prizes include exciting prizes like digital music players, cell phones, cricket kits, Hi-Fi Music Systems and remote controlled planes.

Speaking on Zapak’s association with Parle-G and HP, Rohit Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, Zapak Digital Entertainment Limited said, “Kids are an important target audience and brands are orienting themselves towards them in an effort to catch them young. Realizing the potential of this TG, Zapak has also been taking specific initiatives to target them.”

“We had tied up with McDonald’s Happy Meal, where we are giving games to kids for free. Now we have created the Zapak Super Gamer, one of our first properties targeted at kids. We are happy to have Parle-G and Hewlett Packard on board with us for the same,” Sharma continued.

With prizes like the ones mentioned above, it sure is a good thing that Zapak’s Super Gamer contest will be running for the next two months, i.e. until November 2007!
