World GameMaster Tournament Grand Finale to take place in Mumbai
ASUS has announced that the World GameMaster Tournament (WGT), a PC gaming competition will take place on December 15, 2007 at Mumbai, India.
Every year, this PC gaming initiative is supported primarily by ASUS. Major gaming hardware and chipset vendors such as Kingston, Razer and AGEIA are some of the sponsors. WGT also takes place as an annual event in other countries like Australia, Singapore, UK, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and China amongst others.
The WGT preliminaries were held in Indian states of Chandigarh, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. Now, the Mumbai preliminaries are slated to take place on December 13 and 14, 2007.
The five qualifying teams from each Indian city will then compete against each other at the National Grand Finale to be held in Mumbai at the Earth Castle mall on December 15 this year. The winners will take home some of the best gaming graphics cards courtesy ASUS.
The official games in the WGT this year include actiona dn strategy games like Counter Strike, Call of Duty 2, F.E.A.R and DOTA All Stars.

Besides the tournament, the World Gaming Tournament will also showcase the latest innovations and technologies in gaming hardware.
