On May 8, Blizzard Entertainment announced that it has partnered with the First National Bank of Omaha to offer a Visa Rewards credit card based on the hugely popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Basically, with this card World of Warcraft gamers will get some free play time based on the amount spent.

According to Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard Entertainment, “We worked with First National Bank to design a credit card that provides meaningful benefits for World of Warcraft players. In addition to the benefits it offers, we feel that the World of Warcraft Visa card is another great way for players to represent their gaming passion out in the real world.”

The Visa Rewards credit card is available in 13 colorful World of Warcraft-themed designs, including designs for all ten playable character races, as well as for the Horde and Alliance factions and the World of Warcraft logo as well. The card offers its users many special benefits including a reward program that allows cardholders to earn World of Warcraft game time.

Besides the World of Warcraft benefits, other features that come standard with the Visa Rewards card include:

No annual fee

Low introductory APR for the first 12 billing cycles

Subsequent low interest rates

Online access to account information

The World of Warcraft MMORPG players will get $0.01 credit toward their $14.99 monthly subscription fee after spending every dollar. The rewards are given through points system. There are additional benefits like Purchase Protection, Extended Warranty, Travel Assistance Services, Travel Accident Insurance and up to a 25% discount at select car rental agencies.
