Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 for Wii

Logitech has announced the Classic Keyboard 200, which is compatible with Nintendo’s popular Wii game system.

The Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 is a full-sized USB keyboard. The best part is that since this keyboard is a plug-and-play one, it is ready for immediate use.

George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications said, “We are pleased to have Logitech’s support and be able to bring yet another keyboard compatible with the Nintendo Wii console. Logitech is the perfect partner to support Wii gamers who want to optimize their Wii experience.”

The Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 has a compact form factor and features low-profile keys. This keyboard also features a spill-resistant design. Thus, if a gamer does happen to spill a beverage while playing (which happens so often!), a carefully designed drainage system prevents the hardware from being damaged under most circumstances.

According to Bruce Lancaster, vice president of Logitech’s gaming business unit, “Wii has infused the gaming community with tremendous new energy. And the Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 adds value to the exciting Wii experience. Now consumers can enjoy the advantages of having a keyboard to help them manage their Wii Message Board and enter text in the Wii Internet Channel.”

The Logitech Classic Keyboard 200 is immediately available in the US and Europe for a price of $14.99.
