Kreeda launches Dance Mela, an Interactive Game in India

Kreeda, a game developing company in India, has announced to launch of Mass-Multiplayer online dance game- Dance Mela at NASSCOM. As the name itself suggests, the game is full of dance and music.
All the latest Bollywood songs and as well as international music tracks along with funky dance moves are programmed in the game.
The game is nothing but the dance room and dance contest. Those who are new to such dance games, the Dance Mela game also offers dancing classes for the uninitiated at the beginning of the game where player gets to learn several dance steps from a dance master. After just a few classes the player will be ready to go into the virtual dance room.
All players either will compete with each other or participate in the Boys v/s Girls or other such competitions. The basic idea behind the playing the Dance Mela game is to match scrolling arrows that appear on the screen. Matching arrows will enable player to keep dancing and missing arrows will reduce the life bar. If the life bar decreases like this, player will have to stop dancing even before song stops.

Besides playing Dance Mela using a keyboard, players can also take game out of their PC and play it on the dancing mat, which can be bought from retail stores. This dancing mat will make the game more interactive and exciting.

On the occasion of the launch Rupali Arte, Product Head, Dance Mela said, “Players get to select and customize their 3D avatars, with which they can chat, socialize, shop and of course dance with friends or take on people across India to live.”

She added, “The Dance Mela wil be most suitable for the Indian market. It will run on low end machines and won’t need any high Internet connections speed and can also be played on dial-up connections. At the game data constitutes of 600MB, the space accommodated on the hard disk will be 600MB. The game wil have no problem with ‘Lag’ as it remains connected even 30secs of Lag”.
