Winners of the Sify - Animax Grand Gaming Challenge 2007 announced in Mumbai
After covering 230 GameDromes in 66 cities in India over four zones, the Animax Grand Gaming Challenge 2007 finally culminated yesterday. All the games were evenly contested battles and were fought tooth and nail by the gamers. The AGGC 2007 Finals took off at the renowned Atria Mall in Mumbai, India.
Sify Animax Grand Gaming Challenge 2007 Winners:
The event saw performances from rock bands and Indian Idol finalist Prajakta Sukre as well as appearances by the Pop band Aasma and singer Siddharth Kaanan. Prajakta Sukre also performed new songs from here forthcoming album, Dhakka. The Counter-Strike winners received a check of Rs. 1 Lac while DoTA winners were awarded Rs. 30, 000. Other winners were given graphic cards by NVIDIA. Gunz Online winners were and were rewarded with a 19” TFT monitors. All the winners were given a special AGGC trophy.
The event was the result of the hard work by both Sify and Animax, who were so overwhelmed by the response of the gamers for the AGGC 2007; that they are planning to hold a similar event later in the year. That is surely very encouraging for the gaming community in India.
