Hovr, a mobile media company has just launched a new mobile gaming community available at www.hovr.com. This site offers mobile gaming titles to anyone for free. This new service began with over 100 titles from more than a dozen well known mobile game publishers.

At Hovr, users can download popular game titles such as Underground racer, Hugo Canon Cruise, Texas Holdem’, Alien Portal, and Cave Cab. The game titles under the puzzle genre include Bubble Pop, Bublex and Bloktonik. There are Casino and Card games such as Big2Babes, Oriental Vegas Jackpot and Ozura Blackjack. And of course, Hovr has not forgotten to cover the sports genre with games such as FC-Nerds, HorseShoes and Hugo goes Fishing.

Besides, users can also join Hovr MobileSpace, which is a social network where players can interact and even compete with each other.

A short advertisement usually plays before the game starts, and when it ends. Sometimes marketi9ng schemes are also built into the games. However, according to Hovr, there would be a button to skip these advertisements if the user wishes to do so.

According to Vipul Sawhney, President of Hovr, “Advertisers are looking for new ways to get important product and brand information to targeted audiences. At the same time, consumers want a way to get mobile content without having to pay before trying it. Hovr’s technology lets the needs and desires of these two groups form a perfect marriage inside the Hovr community.”

In the future new game titles will be added to the already larger-than-life catalogue of mobile games. Hovr also went on to say that within weeks after the beta launch of its website, it managed to register over 2000,000 downloads, with membership spanning more than 100 countries.
