NVIDIA Corporation, the world wide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies has announced Sahara Computer and Electronics Ltd.(SCEL) to be the first system builder in India which has been certified under the NVIDIA Business Platform programme. Sahara Computer and Electronics Ltd. have established a manufacturing unit which will produce NVIDIA Business Platform certified systems.

“The NVIDIA Business Platform was developed to provide IT managers of small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) with a certified, commercial stable platform based on NVIDIA nForce® motherboards and NVIDIA® GeForce® graphics technologies,” explains Drew Henry, General Manager of Platform Products for NVIDIA. “By guaranteeing quality and enhancing manageability, the scheme helps to deliver reduced total cost of ownership (TCO) for the SMB sector.”

South African based global technology giant Sahara Computers and electronics Ltd. has launched its latest desktop DT 71520-MC20, which is powered by the NVIDIA business Platform certified motherboard. It combines the NVIDIA GeForce 6150 graphics processing unit (GPU) with the NVIDIA nForce 430 media communications processor (MCP).
