Nintendo Wii Lucky for some…unlucky for others but Friday the 13th is sure to be ‘the day’ for all you Nintendo Wii lovers as it is official that GameStop and EB Games stores will start accepting pre-orders for the Nintendo Wii from today onwards in the United States.

But mind you its just 1 Wii console per household and Gamestop warns about limited supply. You only have to put down $50 for a Nintendo Wii pre-order.

“Due to extremely limited supply, we expect to deplete this allocation very quickly, most likely in minutes,” the stores said on their sites.

The same scenario goes for the PS3 aswell. GameStop and EB Games this week began accepting pre-orders for Sony’s Playstation 3. The pre-orders sold out within minutes as early birds queued in front of stores nationwide to secure their machine with a $100 deposit.

However the supply situation should be actually tremendously better for the Nintendo Wii than the Sony PS3.
