Xbox 360 Coming to India on September 23rd
Gaming enthusiasts in India surely have a reason to rejoice as the final official launch date of the renowned Xbox 360 gaming console in the country.
On Thursday, Microsoft, Country Manager for Microsoft India’s entertainment and devices division, Mohit Anand officially announced that the Xbox 360 will hit the Indian market on Sept 23rd. .
Microsoft Entertainment and Devices Division has also set-up an Xbox website, for the Indian fans, where they can learn more about the console.
Mohit Anand commented, “The India website is for all Xbox 360 enthusiasts who want first hand information on the gaming console before its launch near Diwali.”
“The gaming community in the Indian market is expected to grow rapidly in the coming few years. Xbox will definitely act as a catalyst to fuel this growth and expose Indian gamers to next generation gaming experiences,” Anand concluded.
Recently, Microsoft announced plans to set-up around 1,200 retail centers across 7 cities, as part of the launch of Xbox 360 in the country. The Xbox system will come with 25 titles at launch, with the promise to add nearly 7 to 10 new titles every month.
Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 which will be available in two versions, will be priced in the range of Rs 19,990 to Rs 23,990.
