The very first Asian online poker game site called MaharajahClub.com is launching in India today. MaharajahClub.com, the play-for-fun only Online Poker site is targeted mainly at the Asian market in Europe and Southeast Asia.

The Asian-owned Maharajah Gaming is now all set to further widen its reach in Asia with the launch of MaharajahClub.com.

“This is the first time an online ooker gaming company has targeted an audience based on ethnicity,” Sachin Pawa, CEO of Maharajah Gaming stated. “It happens in land-based casinos around the world. By targeting ethnically, we can cater to the culturally specific needs of our clients in a way that no other casino on the net can,” he said.

The whole idea behind MaharajahClub.com is to bring the fun side of playing online poker to India. The online poker site is expected to help the continent grow on the game, by teaching first-timers how to play and increase poker’s widespread appeal among beginners as well as seasoned players.

The new U.S law which has made online gambling illegal has come into effect. The online gambling industry all over the world is expected to be affected, and hence the focus is switching to new markets
