David R. Maltz & Co., Inc. is auctioning off Acclaim Entertainment, one title at a time. You can be the proud new owner of the publishing rights to Mortal Kombat, Simpsons, Spiderman, and of course Mary Kate & Ashley Magical Mystery Mall.
However you need to move really fast to see the files associated with the 200-some games up for auction as the inspections took place yesterday December 6th, and today, December 7th, in Oceanside, NY.
The date and location of the auction have yet to be announced, but they are accepting offers, and it should be a good week before the auction takes place.
The minimum bid looks to be around $5,000 dollars. Bids must be raised by a minimum of 20% each time, so expect to pay at least $6,000 for games that already have bids.
