My Passport for Mac and My Book Mac edition now in India

For Mac owners in India, Western Digital has launched two new external hard drives in the country. The My Passport for Mac and My Book for Mac, as the name suggests, come pre-formatted for Mac.
While the My Passport for Mac is available in the capacities of 320 GB and 500 GB for Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 9,000 respectively, the My Book Mac Edition offers 1 TB of capacity for Rs. 16,000.
“WD listened to the Mac community who wanted the simplicity of a USB external drive that complements the design of their Mac computer. Now our users can choose from a full range of storage solutions that are ready to use with their Mac computers right out of the box,” said Sharad Srivastava, Director Sales (India & South Asia), Western Digital.

The drives have been fabricated to work seamlessly with popular Mac softwares like Apple Time Machine and others.
