Pioneer recently got the wraps off a novel Blu-ray Disc player called BDP-LX91 The Blu-ray player will offer users more clear and real audio and video quality. Interestingly the player delivers high performance for Blu-ray discs as well as CD and DVD content.
In a solid aluminum body, the BDP-LX91 Blu-ray disc player boasts of dedicated audio and video boards along with gold-plated terminals. The player should be a cinephile’s delight as it is bundled with a host of powerful features. Packed with the BD-Live for enhanced entertainment experience, the disc offers support for most Blue-ray Disc, DVD-Video, AVCHD and CD formats along with DivX, MP3, WMA and JPEG support.
Offering complete HD Audio functionality, Pioneer’s novel Blu-ray player includes Dolby TrueHD and DTS-Master Audio HD features too. Delivering 48-Bit deep colour output, additional other attributes of the player are noise reduction in videos including component frame digital noise mosquito and block noise, Kuro Link offering compatibility with Kuro flat screen TVs, HD Digital Film Direct 24 and high definition JPEG playback.
The video signal D/A converter for high-def support 297MHz / 14-bit whereas it is 216MHz / 14-bit for standard definition. In addition the player also supports 2 HDMI out terminals and an Ethernet terminal along with a number of audio and video terminals.
