Many people may find it easy to let their attention wander away when confronted with a dull and faded presentation from a projector. With that in mind, ViewSonic has unveiled two new projector models namely the PJD6251 DLP and the PJL9371 LCD with increased brightness breadths and promises of more vivid color.
The DLP device is meant for small to medium environment settings like classrooms, boardrooms or conference rooms. The LCD projector is useful for areas as large as the average auditorium. The PJL9371 incorporates 3LCD technology as well as 16W speakers. It shows off a contrast ratio of 2,000:1 and boasts of 4,000 lumens of light. It can be switched on to Eco mode, has an energy efficient hybrid filter design, and a 5,000-hour lamp life. This drives down maintenance requirements as well as TCO of the equipment.
The DLP projector can give 3,700 lumens of brightness, has a 2,800:1 contrast ratio and is a 120Hz /3D enabled device. This table or ceiling mountable model has an HDMI input port as well as a VGA output port. This provides the option of attaching it to another projector or external display intended for multiple screening. The PJD6251 can be connected to several devices simultaneously by its composite VGA and S-Video inputs. The RJ45 network management software can work harmoniously with other ViewSonic DLP projectors and permits configuration and remote controlling when attached to a centralized network.
The company’s LCD and DLP projectors are already out at $1,749 (approx. Rs.80,978) and $949 (approx. Rs.43,958), respectively.
